CancerCare^® Co-Payment Assistance Foundation Announces New Director of External Relations

New York, NY, May 29, 2012— The CancerCare Co-Payment Assistance Foundation, a national nonprofit that helps eligible individuals cover the insurance co-payment costs of cancer medications, announces that Andrew Weber has joined the organization as Director of External Relations.

Weber has more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, most recently with Johnson & Johnson as a Senior Director of Marketing in the areas of advocacy, market access and patient relations. In his new role, Weber will broaden the Foundation’s capacity to provide assistance to individuals facing a wide range of cancer diagnoses.

“The rising cost of cancer treatment means that more people need financial help than ever before,” says Andrew Weber, the Director of External Relations of the CancerCare Co-Payment Assistance Foundation. “I’m looking forward to assisting the Foundation so that it can continue to meet the financial needs of people coping with cancer.”
