CancerCare® Achieves Prestigious Four-Star Rating from Charity Navigator
CancerCare®, the leading national nonprofit organization providing free, professional support services to anyone affected by cancer, is proud to announce that its strong financial health and ongoing accountability and transparency has earned a four-star rating from Charity Navigator. This rating designates CancerCare as an official “Give with Confidence” charity, indicating that the organization is using its donations effectively based on Charity Navigator’s criteria.
“It’s crucial for our donors to trust that we’re using their contributions efficiently to fulfill our mission of providing comprehensive help and hope to people affected by cancer,” said Patricia J. Charity Navigator is America’s largest and most-utilized independent charity evaluator. Only a quarter of charities evaluated by Charity Navigator achieve the distinction of a four-star rating. This honor signifies that CancerCare consistently executes its mission in a fiscally responsible way, fostering the trust and confidence of its donors.
